Time: 6pm – 10pm

1st HEAT: 5th June 2010 – 16 Competitors (4 Go to Final)

2nd HEAT: 12th June 2010 – 16 Competitors (4 Go to Final)

GRAND FINALE: 19th Jun 2010 – 8 competitors will battle each other to grab CHAMPION title.

(Along side: Artist appearance performances, Dancers, etc…)

REGULATIONS:

1. Only solo / single (Not allowed in groups).

2. Open to all ages.

3. The competition will start at 6pm till 10pm.

4. The organizer may cancel participation if participants do NOT comply with the regulations such as using products support.

5. If there is information on suspicious or false in the form the entry will be disqualified.

6. Judges decisions are FINAL.

RULES:

1. Participants will be divided into two groups.

2. Each participants will be competing in the elimination round.

3. The organizer reserve the right to disqualify participants if there are elements that cause problems as a result of the actions or speeches.

4. Participation revoked if the participants arrived late.

5. The organizer may cancel participation if participants do NOT comply with the regulations such as using products support.

6. Judges decisions are FINAL.

Cause: To celebrate the joyous occassion of love, be it old or young, it’s always never too late to celebrate Valentine’s.

Play: Freezing, with V-Day props (roses, balloons, etc). The funnier/wackier/outstanding your pose is, the more likely you would be on the front cover of the news!

The Bomb Shelter Season II returns this December with a spectacular line-up of emcees as well as a nice surprise!

Rogue Squadron - I Can Has Mixtapz?

This month’s edition celebrates the release of Rogue Squadron’s second mixtape I Can Has Mixtapz? It’s a 22-track cornucopia of great hip hop hosted by SSK’s DJ Jocular. I Can Has Mixtapz? will be available as a free download after the gig, but FREE CD copies will be given out to attendees ONLY on that night. So if you’re looking for a reason to hit The Bomb Shelter, this is it!

Rogue Squadron

In conjunction with the release of I Can Has Mixtapz?, Rogue Squadron, the largest independent hip hop collective in Malaysia, will be headlining the show. They promise a sumptuous feast for rap connoisseurs this Wednesday, featuring:

- the winner of KLue Blue Chilli Award 2009 and 8TV Shout! Awards nominee, Jin Hackman
- virtuoso emcee-producer and VIMA 2010 nominee, MicWrecka of The Rebel Scum
- Penang wunderkind and VIMA 2010 nominee, Schizzow
- Malay rap warriors and VIMA 2010 nominees, SSK
- winner of Melbourne Beatbox Championship 2008, Shazet
- Malaysian horrorcore pioneer, Boss Chan
- storyteller par excellence, The Rhymeweaver

Prepare for a lyrical blitzkrieg as the Rogues storm the stage. Support bro!

Flow Finesse

Also set to blaze the mic is the duo Flow Finesse, comprised of Rogue Squadron member The Rhymeweaver and rap maverick The I.R.V.

The Rhymeweaver has been active in the internet rap scene by releasing three critically acclaimed mixtapes over the last two years, and The I.R.V has performed at The Bomb Shelter as well as various other gigs prior. Armed with smooth Malay and English raps, expect Flow Finesse to open the gig with a bang.

Kraft

As his stage name suggests, Kraft is definitely a force to be reckoned within the Malaysian hip hop scene.

Kraft has performed at The Bomb Shelter before to high audience’s acclaim. Now riding high on his two hit singles Diamond and Ayoh Joget, multiple awards and nominations, star-studded guest appearances and flawless battle rap skill, Kraft is set to school us on how to blaze the stage at The Bomb Shelter.

The Bomb Shelter will be going down at Cloth & Clef, Bukit Bintang KL on Wednesday, 16th December 2009, 10pm until late. Entrance is absolutely FREE!

Malaysia’s First Beatboxing and Singing Flash Mob

Hey people!

Woohoo~! Malaysia’s gonna be having its first ever beatboxing and singing flash mob ever, and all of you guys are invited to be part of this!!!

This event is organized by CausePlay and it’s a non-profit organization.

The details and agenda of the event:

Date: 20 December 2009 ( Sunday )

Time: 4 to 6pm

Venue: KL Central LRT Station to KLCC LRT Station

Alright, since this event is gonna be held on December, we are gonna be doing Christmas Carols in the train.

Our minimum target is 10 beatboxers and 20 singers. But of course, the more the merrier! Don’t worry, we are just doing simple beats and simple Christmas songs!

Our whole routine/set will be around 5 to 6 minutes. Targeted number of sets will be about 2 times.

Do not worry, as the number of flash mobbers will be many, it is not feasible for all us to meet up to practice together so we will be meeting on 20 December itself at KL Central at 2pm.
