I love Malay hikayat. There is so much we can learn during this history time, Malay Archipelago was a huge state. It’s was wide spread kingdom through, East Malaysia, East Timor, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Phillipines, Papua New Guinea and near-North Australia. All those countries now were before in the history was all in one called Tanah Melayu. Such strong kingdom where traders would come from all over the world to do marketing business at Melaka.
I came across at Bop’s (Ultra Qalif) Facebook. Then I saw a poster promo “Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa”. Then I was like, “Oh that’s cool. Finally, there will be a hikayat movie in the theater soon.” But then I saw a link of the trailer in extended version. After I watched the trailer, I am freakin’ amaze with KRU’s work. I said, “Bapak ah! Tip-top punya qualiti movie di Malaysia!” Totally respect for their works. This is what Malaysia want. The movie got a great combination of Old Kedah Kingdom with Rome Empire and the Chinese Empire. The concept of the story is about a Roman prince, a Chinese princess and a future king. As in the story Old Kedah Kingdom is a main point for East and West meets together for unite. You can know the story from Alexander The Great or in islamic term as Zulkarnain that clashes with our Malay culture King Merong Mahawangsa. I just when through the Malay literature about Merong Mahawangsa, I believed the Era was full of giant birds like Garuda, Jentayu, Rajawali, Cenderawasih, Kasturi, etc. that live in Malay Archipelago.
As for the continuation about the House of Phantom, Me and Hansaki joined the House very recently around End of April which Hansaki joined it earlier than me and told me to join that House. The house basically running a big project that involve all the members in the House to do art, comic or so on. This House is under Tension Academy where Tension Academy split their member into 4 Houses like Nature, Sphinx, Titan and Phantom. Our House is basically is the darkest House in Tension Academy but full of meanings. Well, hopefully you guys follow us when the project is done. Last time we went to Warumon’s (Founder of Phantom) place and basically they wanted me to come there for the animation project about Monkeys we going to participate for the IPCC. So far so good everything about the animation project. I got to thanks to Warumon for teaching us how to color in Photoshop and Miruki for telling to upgrade my drawing style.
I finally got a concept and a signature or can say trademark for Malaysian Superhero. Which in the West like Marvel or DC their superheroes wear tights and spandex like you could refer to Batman, Superman, Spiderman. While in the East like Japan their superheroes mostly wear helmet and thick leather clothing you can refer to Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, Karas. From there you got the idea of how each West and East superheroes got recognized through out the world. I can’t say yet the concepts/signatures of our Superhero I made it are 100% fully polished. But the idea it’s already stamped. I hope for those who wanted to create superhero based in Malaysia I want you to use this concept/signature for your superhero design so the world will know that superhero is made in Malaysia. I will let you know my superhero concept on my next post.

Shinji Moriwaki goes by his stage name, Figure of Speech. Self-proclaimed as the bastard child of globalization. Figure of Speech is half-japanese and half-chinese but he speaks neither of those languages. Keep in mind that he is our fellow Rogue Squadron member.
I had some listen some of the tracks and I really expected music with a message in The Veil. Forget those mainstream musics. He deliver songs that are politically and socially motivated. He is taking on everything from Islamic extremism, to the media, to the affects of capitalism in the developing world, to the flawed concept of masculinity, as well as teenage pregnancy and abortion. Respect! I gotta say he also produced the beat in first-two songs and most the beat in this album sounded chill to the ears. I give out 8/10 for The Veil. IHz also known as Inspirasi High Schoolerz. A group formerly form by Shazet and Hansaki. A group crossover between 2SC and Firstground. For the time being we are sticking to this group as two persons in-charge. Eventhough, we are still represent each other’s group 2SC and Firstground but we are IHz. I made it sounded confuse but a simple explanation is we are always friends and we honor it together. This group is open to those who willingly to join, who loves making comics, arts, graffiti, games, animations or so on. Do leave us a message at the contact page about joining our group IHz. The members have to be delinquent in order to join and someone we can trust. We wanted our members to be delinquent because we want our members to publish some comics together with us. Well, the news about VeeNIX is once again is been breakdown but the members they are still under 2SC. Maybe in the future we might stick with IHz, 2SC and Firstground. Amok comic book, so far the concept is set, dark, paranormal, reality, psychology, gossip, crime and of course superhero. The logo is unique. The characters also unique in certain ways. Just having the concept and ideas about his abilities, no superpowers but he can fly because he got wings, very intelligent, discipline. This comic will be out soon, I’m targeting to publish it in Mid-month of May and it will be publish under Komik-M.
I came across to my favorite site. I was thinking and wondering about this last three weeks, “They should make Marvel vs Capcom 3.” It’s been like ten years since the last Marvel vs Capcom 2. What I can say about this is, “The best crossover fighting game ever.” It’s fast, intense, cool characters, super moves with super powers. But Marvel vs Capcom 2 it just a game that we just take the joysticks and play for fun. I hope for this Marvel vs Capcom 3 there is story to tell between Capcom and Marvel universe, a logic story which relates to us or maybe a simple story with a style that would be fun to watch. I was thinking about the game art-style, maybe like Street Fighter 4? Well, I don’t like the overside characters. I mean it’s too much for a person. Maybe they should stick to the original version in Street Fighter. Well, about Marvel vs Capcom 3, I don’t mind about 3D and 2D art-style just make it looks nice and cool. I watched the trailer, it more looking towards comic book style. I guess, they should try out about art of Capcom in Marvel comic book style or maybe the fighting style is like a comic book? Well, for this game they should put to the same fighting system, fast, intense, massive moves, super powers, in-your-face type of game. Maybe it’s cool for classic side-scrolling, but since the trailer is 3D they should make it moveable in 3D world similiar to Mortal Kombat vs DC. It will be nice. Instead of using the characters, you can use the world or object in that game to support your fight. Well, this is my opinion. I hope the pros (makers) to give us surprises about this game.

Yesterday Jin Hackman text me, “Are you down for this saturday show?” I Replied, “Yeah, I’m down!” I asked, “What event is it?” Jin replied, “International Women’s Day”. I already know this event because of Rogue Squadron advertise it alot in Facebook. Then I surfed 3R’s website and clicked the event flyer. It wrote special performances by Jin Hackman & Shazet. Haha, I even don’t know that I’m gonna be performing there but my name is already written on the flyer. The details was updated on the 7th February.
TCA hails from Brunei. A street graffiti writing crew under 2SC. Basically, we do freedom of art, we do what we feel about arts and its our PASSION. From pencil to 20mm Markers we’re making many different kind of styles. The former members are Clone One, YECK2, Kaino, Freak, Twens and there are still more members in TCA which we haven’t update about them yet. Stay alert with us! We love painting the world!

Second Street Corporation (2SC) is Malaysia’s independent art collective. A Malaysian design/comic/animation corporation consisting of solo artist and groups, mostly independent. Whether you are in the corporation or not depends on Myspace or DeviantArt. Nobody really knows whether they are in or not, not even members of the corporation.
The promotion is still open. For those who wanted to join as a 2SC’s solo artist or want your team under 2SC please go to contact page and tell us about what you want. Each artists are freely to do their own thing.
There are few of one-shot comics I wanted to do, but 2009 was my most learning year about many things. So I got to postponed the projects. Amok Superhero, I’ve already redesigned the character from him wearing a mask into not wearing a mask. I like to follow facts, in reality only criminals wear mask to hide their identity. So far the story I written already up to Episode 1 – Part C. My vision is, I will write the story about Amok, his relations and his enemies for the first and five episodes. After that the story will be co-written by Norazam Razali (Rhymeweaver). This comic will be black-n-white and going to be publish sometime this year in Malaysia. One thing to tell you guys that Amok Superhero won an award for the “Adiwira Top 8 Terbaik dan Terhebat” on Gundu Merekacipta Adiwira Malaysia 2009.
3 Inches – Episode 1 is finally complete. To view the series please go to http://www.second-street.net/. It took me a very long time because of my laziness. I decided to stop making it because I already changed the title, storyline, the movements and mostly everything. However, I still remain the same characters. There are two characters created by Khairul Anwar (K-Rule) & KAS, they told me I can use them for my story. I am very glad.
